The Dalai Lama says he is just a monk, but we know his influence is enormous.  To honor him, I painted his image and framed it in this 2”x2” amulet-like frame.  Today, both allegiance to the Dalai Lama and his photos are forbidden in monasteries, homes and in neck amulets in Tibet.
